PNNS INFORMATION

Launched in 2001 by the French government, the National Nutrition and Health Program (PNNS) has the general objective of improving the health status of the entire French population by acting on one of its major determinants: nutrition.

  • Engage in regular physical activity
  • Eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables per day
  • Avoid foods that are too fatty, too salty, too sweet
  • Avoid snacking between meals
