It grows wild in the whole of the Mediterranean region, on calcareous soil, but it can be found in all temperate regions in the world.
Favourite recipes:
Rosemary belongs to the "herbes de Provence" family, with time, oregano, savory and marjoram.
It goes very well with lamb, sheep, veal and add an agreeable taste to tomato sauce.
Uses:
The leaves and the flowers are used.
It also produces a very good honey.
