Description:

The name mugwort derives from the Latin name of the goddess Artémis, who had the role of protecting sick women. This plant has been considered since olden times as women plant for excellence.
It is also called " citronella mugwort", "artemisia", "royal herb" and "remise".

Cultivation:
It can be found at its wild state near houses on roadsides and along railways.
The young leaves are picked before flowering, in order to avoid them being too bitter.

Uses:
This aroma, very close to absinthe, is used with pork, mouton, goose, duck and oily fish.
