There are more than 200 types of mint, but the most known are:
- Green mint which is widely used as an aromatic herb with fruit and vegetables (taboulé, aubergines, tomatoes...).
- Peppermint which is cultivated for pharmaceutical purposes.
It is preferable not to associate mint with other aromas, but it can be delicious with lemon. Gives aroma to vinaigrettes et mayonnaises.
