Cultivation:
Lovage is cultivated in rich and well drained soils.
The harvest is carried out from April to September.
Uses:
Leaves can be used to add taste to some dishes (sauces, soups, stews...).
Grains are used to give aroma to cakes.
Young stalks can be used as in jams.
The stalks are used as a vegetable as celery.
The roots can be powdered and used as a pepper substitute.
