Description:

Bear’s garlic is a very ancient medicinal plant, known by the Celts and the Germanics. Traces of  the bear’s garlic were found in Neolithic homes.

Cultivation:
Bear’s garlic grown in Europe’s humid under growth except the Mediterranean region.
The hand picking is carried out from March to June in areas exempt from all traces of human impact.
This plant is a pleasure reserved to connoisseurs.

Uses:
The fresh leaves are used in salads, sandwiches, omelettes, soups and finely chopped on a leg of lamb. They have a strong aroma with a delicate flavour and a slightly sweet hot hint.
This aroma is decreased by cooking it.
Its bulb is edible but leathery.
The bear’s garlic flowers can be used to flavour oils.
